Tether has partnered with Bitqik, a licensed digital asset exchange in Laos, to enhance awareness and understanding of Bitcoin and stablecoins. This collaboration aims to promote financial literacy through seminars and educational materials, targeting a diverse audience in Laos.

Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino emphasized the importance of education in fostering financial inclusion. "By bridging knowledge gaps and expanding access to education, we aim to build a more resilient and opportunity-driven financial future," he said.

Educational Initiative

The initiative, which aims to reach over 10,000 participants, will include online resources and in-person events in central cities. These activities will focus on the practical applications of stablecoins and blockchain technology, particularly USDT. Bitqik CEO Virasack Viravong noted that the joint effort will advance digital asset education in Laos through the Bitqik Academy.

The program will feature activities centered on blockchain technology, Bitcoin investment, and stablecoin usage, broadening access to digital assets in the coming year.
