The inaugural International Crypto Trading Cup (ICTC 2025), hosted by WhiteBIT, Europe's leading cryptocurrency exchange, concluded on May 10th. This groundbreaking live-streamed event brought together eight elite crypto traders from around the globe for a two-day competition.
The competition, featuring 269 trades across 33 teams and thousands of individual participants worldwide, offered a thrilling spectacle of high-stakes trading, demonstrating exceptional risk management and decision-making under pressure.
Max Hamaha's Stunning Victory
Max Hamaha of Ukraine secured a remarkable comeback victory, starting the first day in last place and culminating in a 7,488.84 USDT profit. His winning strategy involved a high-conviction long position on Ethereum, among 47 total trades executed.

Rounding out the top three were Merlijn The Trader (Netherlands) with 6,745.96 USDT and Eugene Loza (Ukraine) with 4,098.90 USDT.

Malik Roth Klindt Jensen achieved the largest single gain—12,249 USDT profit on an ETH_PERP position—while the largest single loss reached -10,725 USDT. Hamaha's victory was further celebrated with his name displayed on LED boards during the El Clásico football match between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid—a first for a crypto trading competition winner.
