Terraform Labs announced the opening of its Crypto Loss Claims Portal on March 31, 2025. This allows creditors to submit claims for losses incurred following the collapse of the TerraUSD token.

- Portal Opens: March 31, 2025
- Claim Deadline: April 30, 2025, 11:59 PM ET
To file a claim, creditors must first register on the online portal (claims.terra.money). Proof of ownership is required. This varies depending on where assets were held:
- Terra Ecosystem/Supported Networks: Sign a transaction directly through the portal (no fees).
- Other Platforms/Exchanges: Provide a read-only API key (preferred) or manual evidence (transaction logs, account statements, screenshots). Note that claims based solely on manual evidence may face delays or rejection.
After verifying ownership, complete the Crypto Loss Claim Form, disclosing all purchase, holding, and transaction details (sales, swaps, staking).
Late claims will not be considered.

Impact and Precedents
The claims portal follows Terraform Labs' $4.47 billion settlement with the US SEC for securities fraud allegations. A portion of these funds will compensate affected investors.
