NEAR AI and Coinbase have joined forces to launch the Open Agent Alliance (OAA), a significant initiative aimed at providing free AI services to over 5.5 billion web users worldwide. This collaboration integrates AI technology with payment systems, prioritizing user privacy and economic inclusivity.

The OAA leverages a robust infrastructure built by several partners including NEAR AI, Coinbase Onramp & AgentKit, Phala, Hyperbolic, Aethir, Akash, Eliza Labs, Bitte Protocol, Arc, HOT, MotherDAO, Exabits, SWEAT Economy, and Fetch. This decentralized network ensures secure and confidential AI service delivery at no cost to users.

How the Alliance Works

Coinbase provides crucial fiat-to-crypto on-ramps, while NEAR AI facilitates USDC conversions between the Base and NEAR platforms. This seamless integration ensures easy access to AI services for users worldwide. The alliance also utilizes NEAR AI's developer environment, Phala’s privacy-enhancing technology, and high-performance GPU processing power from Hyperbolic, Aethir, and Akash.
