Fake $150M WLFI Liquidity Claim Debunked
Claims circulating on X (formerly Twitter) alleging a $150 million liquidity addition to the World Liberty Financial (WLFI) project have been exposed as false. Expert analysis confirms this as a fraudulent scheme.
Analyst Exposes Fake WLFI Transaction
A screenshot shared online purported to show a transaction adding 150 million WLFI tokens to liquidity. However, analyst Ai, via their X account (@ai_9684xtpa), identified this as a fake token scam. According to Ai, the transaction displayed "150 million fake WLFI tokens and 0 real WLFI tokens" on the blockchain explorer.

This highlights the crucial need to independently verify information before making investment decisions, especially concerning less established projects.
WLFI Project Under Scrutiny
This incident occurs while the WLFI project is undergoing a governance vote to enable WLFI token transactions. The official contract address (CA) is 0xdA5e1988097297dCdc1f90D4dFE7909e847CBeF6; currently, the token remains non-transferable. The project continues to garner attention due to its association with the Trump family and potential DeFi sector involvement.
Recent events include the Trump Organization reducing its stake from 60% to 40% and a significant whale acquiring 800 million WLFI tokens for 80 million USDT. Polymarket predicts a 56% chance of WLFI exceeding a $13 billion fully diluted valuation (FDV) on its launch day.

Protecting Yourself in the Crypto Space
While the hype surrounding WLFI persists, investor caution remains paramount. Always verify information from reputable sources and official channels before participating in any transactions. This is crucial for safeguarding assets and avoiding scams.
