Bitpanda Enters UK Market with Extensive Crypto Offering

Vienna-based crypto platform Bitpanda has officially launched in the UK, providing access to over 600 crypto assets. This includes major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum, as well as stablecoins and various other tokens.

Serving over 7 million users across Europe, Bitpanda aims to offer a secure and comprehensive investment experience. The platform operates under multiple regulatory licenses outside the UK, providing institutional-grade infrastructure, curated crypto asset indices, market insights, and educational resources to support long-term investing.

The Austrian fintech firm recently secured its third Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) license from Austria’s Financial Market Authority, adding to existing licenses from Germany and Malta.

Strategic Move for Growth

Bitpanda’s co-founder and CEO, Eric Demuth, emphasized the strategic importance of the UK market. "We believe the UK will grow to be one of our largest markets in the next 2 years. Our goal is simple: to be the best, most secure, and most complete way to invest in crypto assets in the UK," Demuth stated.

To spearhead regional operations, Bitpanda has appointed Pantelis Kotopoulos as UK Country Director.

B2B Expansion with Technology Solutions

Bitpanda is also introducing its B2B infrastructure arm, Bitpanda Technology Solutions (BTS), to the UK market. BTS provides white-label integration services to banks, fintech firms, and crypto platforms. Current partnerships include Deutsche Bank, Société Générale, Raiffeisen, and LBBW.

Arsenal Football Club Partnership

Alongside the UK launch, Bitpanda announced a multi-year partnership with Arsenal Football Club, becoming their Official Crypto Trading Partner. This collaboration aims to increase digital asset education and understanding among Arsenal supporters and the broader investor community.
