Blockchain.com Signs ‘Historic’ Sponsorship Deal With NFL Team Dallas Cowboys
Blockchain.com, which describes itself as “the world’s leading crypto finance house serving people, projects, protocols and institutions since 2011,” has announced a new sponsorship deal with the National Football League’s Dallas Cowboys team.
Blockchain.com issued a press release on April 13 to announce that it will “become the exclusive digital asset partner of the Dallas Cowboys, the world’s most valuable sports team, and the most popular sports team in America.” The press release called this “a historic deal” since it claimed that this is the “first-ever cryptocurrency partnership with an NFL team.”
Apparently, “the announcement was made by Cowboys Owner, President and General Manager Jerry Jones and Blockchain.com Co-Founder and CEO Peter Smith at a press conference”on April 13 at “the Cowboys headquarters at The Star in Frisco.”
This agreement will “include extensive branding, advertising, content and event opportunities.” To be more specific, the deal “includes club space inside AT&T Stadium, rights to social/digital integrations, highly visible signage within the stadium bowl, as well as extensive TV, radio, and digital advertising.” Also, this partnership will “create ways for fans to quickly access Dallas Cowboys content and their Blockchain.com Wallet.”
Dallas Cowboys Owner, President and General Manager Jerry Jones, had this to say:
