Arda Raises $3M to Disrupt the Real Estate Industry

Arda, a groundbreaking company building a universal operating system for the real estate sector, announced today a $3 million pre-seed funding round led by Lightshift. This investment will fuel Arda's mission to streamline the currently fragmented and opaque $380 trillion real estate market.

A Blockchain-Based Solution for Real Estate

Arda is developing a digital framework that integrates real estate assets, data, and financial services into a single, interoperable system. Leveraging AI and blockchain technology, the platform aims to significantly reduce transaction times and boost transparency by enabling real-time ownership and financial processes. This innovative approach promises to modernize a traditionally slow and complex industry.

Key Features of the Arda Platform

  • Digital Asset Profiles: Provides a verifiable record of property history, simplifying due diligence.
  • Real-Time Money Movement: Enables payments directly linked to transactions for faster settlements.
  • Integrated Data and Automation: Automates workflows, minimizing administrative overhead in asset management.

Leadership and Institutional Backing

Arda was founded by Oli Harris, a former Managing Director in Digital Assets at Goldman Sachs and Head of Crypto Assets Strategy at JPMorgan Chase. His extensive experience includes involvement in the development of Quorum, an enterprise Ethereum platform, and key contributions to institutional digital asset adoption. Mr. Harris also held board positions at several prominent crypto companies.

“Real estate remains one of the most valuable yet operationally fragmented asset classes,” said Oli Harris, Founder & CEO of Arda. “By creating a programmable, trust-based system, we aim to bring real estate transactions in line with modern digital financial infrastructure.”

The Future of Real Estate is Digital

With growing institutional investment in digital assets, governments and industry leaders are actively exploring frameworks for secure, verifiable digital property transactions. Regions like the Gulf are leading the charge in adoption, while U.S. policymakers are working on regulations to integrate digital assets into mainstream finance. This shift towards digitization presents a significant opportunity for innovation and efficiency.

“We invest in founders who are building the foundations of next-generation industries,” said Simao Cruz, Founding Partner at Lightshift. “Arda is developing purpose-built infrastructure that could redefine how real estate is owned, transacted, and financed.”
